Tiffany and Co. MacaronsNovember 30, 2014
While I am not a brand conscious girl, I must admit there is a place in my heart for Tiffany and Co. To quote Holly GoLightly (played by Audrey Hepburn in the move, Breakfast at Tiffany's), "that's right, I'm just crazy about Tiffany's!"
But just what is it about Tiffany and Co. that captures a girl's heart? The idea of Tiffany is one of posh beauty and love. The brand exudes an elegant charm that draws females in, gawking through the glass display like a little girl in front of a candy store. No wonder Holly Golightly would like to have Breakfast at Tiffany's.
It might just be good branding and a whole big sham to make girls want that signature turqoise blue box. Even turquoise blue is referred to Tiffany blue at times. Undoubtedly good marketing. And I, as a victim of consumerism, have willingly fallen trap to it. Oh, what a silly but oh so beautiful thing to lust for.
If even the simple turqoise box with a white ribbon can make hearts skip a beat, then if given with these Tiffany and Co. macarons, would hearts stop?
These macarons are in such a lovely shade of turquoise blue. Decadently filled with salted caramel filling and dark chocolate ganache, they have all been gift wrapped with a tiny ribbon.
Like little keys to girl's heart, they are sure to make any Tiffany girl's heart melt. The macarons would be the perfect companion to that Tiffany jewelry.
