Lactation Cookies. Do they really work?
Although it has not been scientifically proven, many mummies have claimed they help to boost milk supply. This could be due to the nutrition from the ingredients in lactation cookies, such as brewer's yeast and oats. Most importantly, a healthy diet and drinking lots of water is still the most important when it comes to breastfeeding.
I've been breastfeeding my darling baby Abby since she was born, and it's been a beautiful experience thus far. I'm thankful that I have sufficient milk supply, but I still snack on these lactation cookies as breastfeeding makes me soooo hungry.
This Flourless Lactation Cookies Recipe is an easy, quick, one-bowl recipe - perfect for time crunched and tired mums! It is baked without flour or any added sugar, so it is gentle on your waistline too πIt makes a great snack, and since it is so easy to make, I can easily whip up new batches weekly.
