Easy Homemade Waffles
March 05, 2017
A simple recipe for homemade waffles that are perfect for weekend brunches. The waffles are light and fluffy inside, and crispy outside... and super simple to make! Basically involves mixing only 6 ingredients in one bowl - easy cleanup ;)
Even though Jon, my fiancé, received a waffle maker as a gift last Christmas, and I only got around to making them for him recently. Haha. The brand of the waffle maker is Nostalgia Electrics 50S-Style, and it comes in a lovely vintage red. The waffle iron plates are non-stick and heats up quickly. It's quite easy to use and easy to clean up. However, I've only used it once so it might be too early to judge as I'm not sure how long lasting it is, but I'm sure it'll last at least a few more homemade weekend brunches :)
I served the waffles with maple syrup - classic combination. These waffles go well with other toppings, spreads, ice cream... and whatever you fancy! Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
